⭐⭐
I bought the KF prime Nite DLC Style 22mm 316SS RTA by Shenray in black. The machining is decent, but flavor is muted and the 2ml capacity needs constant refilling. Airflow whistles and adjusting it is fiddly. Building is cramped, wicking is unforgiving, and I got dry hits. Battery life was fine with my usual 0.8ohm build, though. For the price, I expected better. Disappointing overall—2/5 stars.

I’ve been using the Shenray KF prime Nite DLC Style 22mm 316SS RTA for a few weeks. It’s a solid little 2ml MTL tank. Machining on the 316SS and DLC-style black finish feels decent for the price, though the threads needed a clean before they smoothed out. Building is simple once you get the wicking right; too much cotton and it dry-hits, but with a 1.0 ohm round wire build at 12–14W the flavor is clean and sharp, especially with tobacco and fruity liquids. Airflow adjusts nicely from tight MTL to a restricted lung hit. Battery life is good because it doesn’t need high wattage. Downsides: 2ml capacity means frequent refills, and the spare glass is nice but this is not a tank for heavy sub-ohm use. 4/5

5/5. I’ve been using the KF prime Nite DLC Style 22mm 316SS RTA by Shenray in Black for a few weeks, mostly on a single 316L round wire build around 1.1 ohms at 12 watts. The build deck is familiar if you’ve used Kayfun-style tanks, and wicking is forgiving once you get the cotton length right. Flavor is the strong point: tight, warm MTL vapor with clean notes, especially with tobacco and bakery juices. The adjustable airflow lets me go from very tight to a slightly looser MTL draw, and it stays smooth without whistling. Battery life is excellent at these low wattages; I easily get a full day from a single 18650. The DLC-style black finish looks good and has held up well. Downsides: 2ml capacity means frequent refills, and it can weep a little if I overfill or wick too thin. Still, for a 22mm rebuildable MTL tank, it has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.
