I’ve been using the ShenRay Fev V4.5S+ 23mm MTL RTA for about three weeks, and overall it’s a solid 4/5 for the price. The 1:1 clone feel is decent: 316 stainless steel, smooth threads, and the black finish has held up. Flavor is the highlight. With the 0.8mm or 1.0mm air insert, the draw is tight and smooth, and my tobacco and custard juices taste much clearer than in most budget MTL tanks. The 4.5ml capacity is great for daily use, and because I run simple 1.0-1.2 ohm coils at 12-15W, battery life on a single 18650 is easily a full day. The steel wicks work well once you get the wicking right, but this deck is not forgiving. Too little cotton and it seeps; too much and it dry-hits. Bottom fill is also messy and annoying, especially on the go. Air inserts are a bit fiddly to swap. If you like tinkering and want good MTL flavor, it’s worth it.

5/5 stars. I’ve been using the Fev V4.5S+ 23mm MTL RTA by ShenRay for a few weeks now, mostly on a single 18650 mod. The 1:1 clone feels solid in 316 stainless steel, threads are clean, and bottom fill is a bit old-school but works fine once you get the hang of it. I run the 1.2mm air insert with a simple 28g kanthal build around 1.0 ohm. Flavor is dense and warm without being harsh, and the draw is smooth and restrictive in a good MTL way. The steel wicks took a little trial and error, but after that no leaks or dry hits. Because it’s MTL, my battery lasts noticeably longer. The 4.5ml tank gets me through most of the day. For the price, this is a keeper.

I’ve been using the Fev V4.5S+ 23mm MTL RTA for about three weeks now, and it’s become my go-to rebuildable tank. The draw with the 1.2mm insert is tight but smooth, and flavor is genuinely great—clean, dense, and not muted at all. Wicking takes a bit of practice; once I got the rayon amount right, no leaks or dry hits. The bottom fill is a little fiddly but fine with the tank mostly empty. Build quality on this 1:1 clone is solid, threads are smooth, and it feels sturdy. Battery life depends on my mod and coil, but the 4.5ml capacity means I’m not constantly refilling. The Fev V4.5S+ clone from ShenRay is a solid MTL RTA. I’ve been using it for about three weeks and the flavor is surprisingly clean for a clone, especially with the 1.2mm air insert. The draw is tight but smooth, and the bottom fill takes a bit of getting used to, but it hasn’t leaked once with proper wicking. I like that you can switch between single and dual airflow, though I mostly stick with single. Battery life on my mod benefits from the MTL build - I use a 1.0ohm coil and it sips juice while giving a satisfying throat hit. The steel wicks are a nice extra, but cotton works better for me. If you’re comfortable rebuilding, this is worth the price. Just be careful with the glass when refilling.
